How to Use
The ANCS Acupressure 6 channels SDZ-III 6-Channel Acupuncture Machine is an electro-acupuncture device that uses low-voltage, low-frequency electrical impulses to stimulate acupuncture points or muscles. It provides 6 independent outputs that can be connected to either acupuncture needles (via alligator clips) or self-adhesive pads (via pin connectors).
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation:
- 1. Preparation Skin Prep: Clean the treatment area with rubbing alcohol to remove body oils and ensure good patch/needle contact. Zero Settings: Ensure all intensity (output) dials are turned entirely off (counter-clockwise) before starting.
- 2. Electrode & Needle Placement With Patches: Attach the adhesive TENS pads to the targeted muscle groups. Make sure to plug both ends of a single output wire into pads that are close together (do not cross the heart, neck, or eyes).With Needles: Carefully insert your acupuncture needles as required. Attach the red and black alligator clips from one channel to two different needles to complete the circuit.
- 3. Machine Setup Power On: Connect the device to a power outlet or insert the batteries. Turn the power switch on. Set Waveform: Use the function/mode button to select the type of pulse wave you need (usually Continuous, Discontinuous/Intermittent, or Dense-Disperse).Set Timer: Set the treatment time on the large LCD screen (typically up to 60 minutes).
- 4. Treatment & Adjustment Gradual Increase: Turn the intensity knob for the specific channel you are using slowly and gradually. Increase it until the patient feels a comfortable, tingling sensation. Never turn the intensity up to the maximum immediately to prevent sudden shocks. Frequency Adjustment: Adjust the pulse frequency (usually between \(1 \text{ to } 100 \text{ Hz}\)) using the frequency dials or digital menu depending on your target symptoms (e.g., pain relief or muscle stimulation).
- 5. Post-Treatment Power Down: Turn the intensity knobs back to zero before removing the patches or unhooking the clips. Turn off the main power. Cleanup: Carefully remove the needles or peel off the adhesive pads.
