Description

This Peanut shaped gym ball is a fun way to encourage kids to build a healthy posture and improve balance. The constant ball moves increase blood flow and help children get the “”wiggles out,”” leading to better focus. This ball also offers more stability than traditional balance balls because of the unique cradling shape.

Key Benefits
  • Superior Stability: The unique "saddle" design provides more stability than a traditional round ball, making it easier for beginners, children, or those in rehabilitation to feel secure while exercising.
  • Improved Core Strength and Balance: It is an excellent tool for engaging the core muscles, improving postural stability, and developing motor coordination.
  • Targeted Exercises: It allows for focused exercises, such as squeezing the ball between the legs to target inner thighs and hips, or using it for stable wall squats.
  • Versatile Use Cases: It is widely used in:
  • Physical Therapy: For neuro-rehab and strengthening.
  • Prenatal/Labor: Assisting with comfortable positioning.
  • Sensory Integration: Offering vestibular and proprioceptive input for children.
  • Safe and Durable: Most are made with anti-burst PVC material, making them safe for home or clinic use.

How to Use
Peanut Ball Plank: Position your feet or shins on the top of the ball while holding your body in a straight line with hands under your shoulders. Seated Balance Hold: Sit in the center "saddle" of the ball and lift your feet off the floor to engage your deep abdominal muscles. Supported Bridge: Lie on your back with your calves on the ball. Lift your pelvis toward the ceiling to work your glutes and posterior chain. Wall Squats: Place the ball between your back and a wall. Perform squats while the ball slides up and down; squeezing the ball between your legs during this move can further activate glutes and hip extensors. Therapeutic and Sensory Uses Prone Walk Outs: Lay your stomach over the ball and walk your hands forward until the ball is under your thighs or shins, then walk back. This improves upper body and shoulder stability. Self-Myofascial Release: For back pain, lie on your back with the ball under your lower or upper back. Gently rock or perform pelvic tilts to massage tight muscles. Pregnancy and Labor : During labor, lying on one side with the ball between the knees and ankles can help open the pelvis and provide comfort. Sensory Regulation: For children, rolling the ball over their body while they lie on a mat can provide deep pressure input to help them calm down.
