Description

The ANCS Yoga Foam Roller is a high-density exercise tool designed for deep tissue massage, muscle recovery, and stretching in both home and gym settings. It is specifically engineered to target overworked muscles, providing therapeutic relief and improving overall physical performance.
Core Product Features
High-Density Construction: Made from expanded high-density material (often EVA foam), it is designed to penetrate soft tissue layers more effectively than standard rollers while resisting bending or breaking under weight.
Optimal Dimensions: Typically features a 33cm length, which is compact enough for portability yet long enough to accommodate both legs simultaneously for specific exercises.
User-Friendly Firmness: It is firm enough for effective deep tissue work but remains comfortable for beginners or those experiencing minor muscle pain.
Portability: The roller is lightweight, making it easy to transport to the gym or carry during travel

Key Benefits
Incorporating a foam roller into your fitness routine provides several physiological and performance-related advantages:
  • Reduced Muscle Soreness: Rolling after exercise can help decrease delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS), making it easier to move the following day.
  • Improved Flexibility and Range of Motion: Using a roller can temporarily increase joint mobility, allowing you to perform stretches and exercises with a fuller range of motion.
  • Enhanced Circulation: The mechanical pressure of rolling stimulates blood flow to targeted areas, delivering vital oxygen and nutrients to tired muscle tissue.
  • Injury Prevention: By addressing muscle imbalances and reducing tightness in areas like the hip flexors and lats, foam rolling can lower the risk of strains and overuse injuries.
  • Stress Relief and Relaxation: Many users find that breaking up muscle tension through rolling promotes a sense of calm and helps the nervous system relax

How to Use
To use a foam roller effectively for deep tissue massage and stretching, you should slowly roll your body over the cylinder to apply pressure to muscle "knots" or trigger points. This technique, known as self-myofascial release (SMR), helps reduce muscle tightness, improve flexibility, and increase blood flow. How to Use on the Back: Using a foam roller on the back requires care to avoid straining the spine. Upper and Mid-Back: Sit on the floor with the roller behind you. Lean back so your mid-back rests on the roller horizontally. Lift your hips, support your head with your hands, and slowly roll from the mid-back up to your shoulder blades. Lower Back: It is often recommended to avoid horizontal rolling directly on the lower back, as it can cause over-arching and strain. Instead, place the roller vertically along your spine or use a smaller massage ball to target specific sore spots. Spinal Alignment: Lie with the roller positioned longways (vertically) under your spine, supporting both your head and tailbone. Spread your arms wide to the sides and breathe deeply for up to 1 minute to stretch the chest and align the spine. How to Use on the Legs: Leg muscles often hold significant tension and benefit from deep tissue rolling. Quadriceps (Front Thigh): Lie face down in a forearm plank position with the roller under your thighs. Use your arms to slowly roll from just above the knee to the hip. Hamstrings (Back Thigh): Sit with the roller under your thighs and your hands on the floor behind you for support. Roll from the back of the knee up toward the glutes. Calves: Sit with your legs extended and the roller under your calves. Lift your hips and roll from the ankle to just below the knee
